Jerry L. Braudt, 84, of Watertown, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Aurora Summit Hospital in Summit. Jerry was born on June 2, 1940, the son of Lowell and Alice (Root) Braudt. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy, retiring from the military after 30 years of service. Jerry was a member of the Watertown American Legion Post 189, Watertown VFW, and the DAV (Disabled American Veterans). Jerry was an avid reader, and had an impressive collection of books. Ruth S. Hartwig, 86, of Watertown, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Beehive Homes in Mt Horeb. Ruth was born on February 16, 1938, in Racine, the daughter of Heinrich and Selma (Scheel) Blanke. She married Donald Hartwig on October 11, 1958, and the couple enjoyed 41 years of marriage before his passing in 1999. Ruth worked in the engineering department at Lindberg Heavy Duty in Watertown for over forty years. Ruth loved being a grandmother and adored her grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, and working in her garden growing flowers and vegetables. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Earl was born on January 13, 1948, in Watertown, the son of Anthony and Genevieve (Pitterle) Wanke. He was baptized, confirmed, and was a longtime member of St. Henry Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Watertown High School and earned his associates degree from MATC in Watertown. Karen M. Radtke, 73, of Watertown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Earl succumbed to his injuries sustained in a tree stand fall the week prior. Earl was born in Reeseville, WI, to Earl H. and Lillian (Stegner) Winker on November 17, 1932. Timothy Bryant Mercer, 67 from Watertown, Wisconsin, passed away on October 3rd, 2024. Tim was born in Merced, California on December 24, 1956 the son of Joe Kenneth (Kenny) Mercer and Marjorie (Gentry) Mercer. He graduated from Beyer High School in Modesto, California.
