Mrs. Marie Faulk Tuten, 85, of Albany, GA, formerly of Waycross, assuredly entered into heaven Monday morning at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in High Point, NC to the late Raymond and Elva Marie Killingsworth Faulk. Mrs. Tuten moved to Waycross in 1956. A loving wife and mother, Mrs. Tuten excelled in her role as a homemaker. Once the children were grown, she worked for the Waycross School System until her retirement in 1992. Mrs. Tuten was an active member of Second Baptist Church and the Celebration Choir in Waycross. Hazen Heyward Sadler, Sr., 79, of Blackshear, Georgia died Thursday night, October 17, 2019, at his residence. At the time of his death he was surrounded by family and friends. Hazen was born in Cairo, Georgia to the late Heyward Jess and Christine Cobb Sadler. He was a 1958 graduate of Bay High School in Panama City, Florida and a 1964 graduate of Florida State University. In addition, he served as a medic in the United States Army Reserves. In 1963, he married the love of his life, Mary Olivia Murphy. He is the proud father of Haze and Olivia. Douglas Ray Whiddon, 70 of Waycross, died Sunday, October 13, 2019. Doug was born September 18, 1949 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Wilson Ray Whiddon and Rachael Elizabeth Douglas Whiddon. He graduated from Darlington School (Class of '67) in Rome, Georgia. He is survived by a number of close cousins and a large extended family.
