Early in the evening on Wednesday, September 29, Will Graves passed peacefully from this life into Eternity. He was a resident of Oak Park Nursing Home, Auburn, Alabama. Will was born in Houston, Texas, to Lucille Martin Graves and Andrew Jackson Graves. In 1944 the family moved to Austin, where Will graduated from Austin High School. He then served four years in the U. S Air Force. He returned to Austin and earned a degree in accounting from the University of Texas. A Certified Public Accountant, he was employed by Vinson & Elkins law firm in Houston and in private practice. Betty Carol Shamblin Martin, formerly of Nitro, WV and Auburn, AL passed away September 20, 2020 in Auburn, AL. She was born November 7, 1940 in Sattes, WV, the daughter of Ed and Elise Shamblin. She is survived by her husband Leonard; daughter, Stephanie, and grand dog Sadie Ann of Auburn, AL; brothers: Harold Shamblin, and Max Shamblin of Cross Lanes, WV; sisters: Peggy Wade of Buffalo, WV, Rosalie Boggs of Charleston, WV, and a host of family and friends. Benjamin Strickler Adams III of Auburn, Ala., and formerly of Mooresville, passed away on April 21, 2020, at his home. He was 22. He was called Bo by his family and friends, and they loved him dearly. From the moment he could first stand alone -- and as long as his mother was willing to dig up worms for his bait -- Bo's passion was fishing. He adored fishing, in streams, rivers, lakes and oceans. He loved being outdoors. Bo enjoyed hiking and camping, and was skilled in snowboarding and skateboarding. Mr. Rogers was born in Birmingham, Alabama to Edward Allen Rogers, Sr. and Bernie Jane McCormack. He graduated from Auburn University with a BS in Engineering. He was employed with Goodyear in Barberton, Ohio as a chemical engineer. He later went to work for Ampex Magnetic Tape in Opelika until they went out of business. Bayard Rodney Beck, Sr., 80, died on September 7, 2019 at his home surrounded by his beloved family. Rodney was born on March 23, 1939 to Clifton T. and Velma M. Beck in Perryville, MD. He was a graduate of Chesapeake City High School and attended Salisbury State Teacher's College.
