Susan Lee (Stransky) Durfee, known better as Sue, was born the first child of Bill and Marlys Stransky. Sue was born in Mitchell, SD, on February 19, 1960, and died at home after a short battle with pancreatic cancer on October 1, 2024, in Fond du Lac, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Marlys Stransky and an infant brother Scott Stransky. She is survived by her two sisters, Pam and Cindy (Lloyd); her husband, Omer "Bill" Durfee; three sons, Michael (Megan) Durfee, Ross Durfee, and William (Nikki) Durfee; two daughters, Alia (Sam) Krerowicz and Vikki (Jamie) Laudolff; and nine grandchildren. Eugene E. Anderson, age 96, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, in Ripon, WI. He was born on February 10, 1928, in Milwaukee, the son of Wallace and Mayme (Bass) Anderson. On October 11, 1947, he married Faith Weyland. She preceded him in death on January 15, 2013. Eugene worked for Wisconsin Bell until his retirement on April 16, 1986. After retiring Eugene fulfilled his lifelong dream of moving to Green Lake, WI, from Milwaukee. In Milwaukee he was a member of Redemption Ev. Donna Rae Feldes, 87, of Fond du Lac, died on August 24, 2023, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born on February 18, 1936, in Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Grace (Morse) Durfee. Donna Rae attended Cedarburg High School. During her working career, Donna Rae was administrative support in banking. Donna Rae was a Packer, Brewer, and Badger fan. She was found at the racetrack for many years supporting her husband, could be found up north at the cottage where boating and fishing were favorite hobbies of hers'. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Elsie Margaret Conant passed away on May 14th, 2023, at St. Francis Home Hospice in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin at the age of 89. She was ushered into Heaven peacefully, surrounded by family. The oldest of five siblings, Elsie was born to Frederick D. Long and Elsie M. Cappiello (Volinsky) in Brooklyn, New York (King County) on March 15, 1934. Kenneth C. Grainger, 79, of Stillwater, OK, died Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Stillwater Medical Center.
