Dr. Frederick Bert Hauenstein, age 88, of Huntington, IN. passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022, at Heritage Pointe of Huntington. Frederick was born on December 27, 1933, in Huntington, IN. to Lawrence and Susie (Anson) Hauenstein. His parents preceded him in death. Frederick married Sandra Ann Doyel on October 16, 1955, in Muncie, IN, and she survives in Huntington. Frederick was a 1951 graduate of Huntington Township High School. He received his undergraduate and Master's degree from Ball State University and doctorate from Indiana University. Post-doctoral work was done at Case Western University.
