Dewayne Green 75, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Dewayne's faith in Jesus Christ, his Savior, sustained him through his long battle with Parkinson's. He was born in Amery, Wisconsin to Kermit and Della Green. Dewayne worked as an educator for many years. In his chosen profession, he was afforded to opportunity to work with students from Elementary to University level. His work and spirit of adventure, allowed him to travel and reside in other states of our great country. As a Wisconsin native, he was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Rogelio "Roy" Cadena, age 88, of Weslaco, Tx entered eternal rest on July 3, 2023 with his loving family by his side. He is preceded in death by his grandson Nicholas "Nick" Cadena. Roy was born November 22, 1934 in Santa Maria to Eloisa Reyes and Luciano Cadena. He met his devoted wife of 66 years, Leola Cano Cadena in Mercedes Texas. Together they had 5 children.
