Mabel M. (Lyman) Harrison passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, May 2, 2024, with her family at her side, following a long and accomplished life. Mabel was born at home and into the loving family of Thomas and Rose (Dupont) Lyman. Her formative years were spent growing up with her four older siblings in the Hamlet of Verdoy, in the Town of Colonie, where she received her primary education in the Verdoy Schoolhouse, a one room schoolhouse of that era. She later graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in Schenectady and then continued her education at Russell Sage College from where she earned a degree in accounting. Susan N. (Phalen) VanDenburgh, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, April 22, 2023. Born in Kingston on March 1, 1935, she was the daughter of the late John and Edna (Yearsly) Phalen. Susan loved to dance as a teen and was in many dance recitals. She liked to share that she danced on Broadway, which was the Broadway Theater in Kingston. She then started synchronized swimming at the Troy YMCA and enjoyed performing at Crooked Lake and other area pools. Susan volunteered with the Girl Scouts and loved to sew and garden. After moving to Latham, Susan enjoyed neighborly activities, like arts and crafts and playing cards with her neighbors whom she and Nelson Sr. became close friends...

Eugene B. Wunderlich. 83, passed away on April 11, 2023 in Glens Falls Hospital after battling several ailments over the past few months. Gene, or "Butch", as many people called him, was born in Latham, NY to Anna Mae and Joseph Wunderlich and spent his younger years working on the family farm. Raising chickens, milking cows, and bailing hay were some of the chores Gene could be seen in helping his parents run the family farm. Gene spent his grade school years in a one room school house in Latham and at St Patrick's School in Watervliet. He then attended Keveny Academy in Cohoes for high school. The family of Robert E. Malesardi announces his recent passing. Bob was at his beloved waterfront home in Oxford, a scenic byway in the Chesapeake region on the Eastern shore of Maryland. Bob was in his 97th year, having been born on October 5, 1924 to Harold and Natalie Hoer Malesardi. We are grateful his life's journey was completed gently, in peace and with grace.
