Wilma Maxine Elfering, 93 Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, passed peacefully in her sleep on February 26, 2022 at her home in Spring Grove, Illinois. Wilma was born October 24, 1928 in Nampa, Idaho to Lynn Thomas Newland and Hazel Fern Harrison Newland. Raised on a farm in Kuna, Idaho (now the Indian Creek Winery), Wilma loved driving the team of horses. In her free time, she would be found in the hayloft reading. Wilma's love of reading led her to pursue an education in English and teaching. Bob grew up in Janesville, WI, graduated from Joseph A. Craig High School in 1969. In August 1970 he married his high school sweetheart and lifelong partner, Stevie (Homsey) Schmidt. James P Pikul, 66, of Mundelein, passed away peacefully April 17, 2021 at his home with his family by his side after a lengthy illness. Jim received his MBA from Buffalo State University and had a 30 year career with Kraft Foods as their Director of Sale Operations. His passions outside of work and family were playing golf, hockey, and tennis. He was an amazing husband, father and friend; he will be dearly missed. Peter "Pete" Higman, age 77, of Gurnee, Illinois passed away on April 13, 2020 from complications associated with COVID-19. He was born in Butte, MT, grew up in Billings, and graduated from the University of Montana and Montana State University with an MBA and RPh. He was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. Pete also proudly served in the Montana and Illinois Army Reserves. Pete began working as a pharmacist in Bozeman, MT and ended his career when he retired from the VA Hospital in North Chicago, IL.
