Ryan Robert Heise, 45, of Milton, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, January 9, 2024. Born on January 31, 1979, in Janesville, Wisconsin, Ryan grew up in Milton, where he graduated from Milton High School in 1997. After graduating, Ryan founded RH Earth and Water Works, a successful landscaping company specializing in retaining walls, paved patios, and stunning waterfalls. His work not only enhanced outdoor spaces but also reflected his creativity. He was always very proud of his designs. Kenneth Gene Smith, age 68, passed away at home on January 9th, 2025. He was born on April 22 in Janesville, WI, the son of Eugene and Audriene Smith. He graduated from Oregon High School in 1975. Kenny enjoyed many things in his life, including watching the Green Bay Packers, the Badgers, hunting, fishing (especially his many trips to Hayward), farming, and playing in the snow on his Kubota tractor. She was born on January 24, 1934, at home on the Franklin Family Farm in Union Township, the daughter of Oliver George Franklin and Crystal (Westby) Franklin. Mildred attended Franklin School, graduating 8th grade in 1948, and Evansville High School, where she graduated in 1952. She continued her education at Green County Normal, graduating in 1954, and began her teaching career at Cooksville School. Robert J. (Jim) Gullickson, 73, strummed his final guitar cord on December 31, 2024, in the comfort of his home. Jim was born in Hillsboro, Wisconsin, on February 27, 1951, to the late Robert Gullickson and Janice Morgan Gullickson. Jim was a proud member of the Edgerton High School class of 1969. On September 8, 1973, Jim married Patti Schachtschneider at Trinity Lutheran Church in Edgerton. Jim worked as a Quality Technician at Dana Corp., Columbia Par Car and retired from Sub-Zero, Wolf in Madison. Sara Lynn Johnson, 63, of Edgerton, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on December 30, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on March 5, 1961, in Edgerton to Donald and Marjorie (Lien) Johnson, Sara lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love for her family and community. A proud graduate of Edgerton High School in 1979, Sara pursued higher education at UW-Stevens Point before earning an associates degree in Fashion Merchandising from MATC and a bachelor's degree in Information Studies from UW-Milwaukee. Marie Gladys Gallman, 92, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024, at Charter Senior Living of Verona. She was born on October 21, 1932, to Floyd and Florence (Parsons) Krause. Marie grew up in Evansville, attended Evansville Schools, and graduated from Evansville High School in 1950. On November 21, 1950, Marie married LaVerne Gallman in Evansville. She dedicated her career as a teacher's aide at the local elementary school, touching many young lives.
