Cassidy Desirae McCorkle, 20, passed away Friday morning. She was the daughter of Elizabeth Suzzann McCorkle of Panama City, Fl. and Ronald Wayne McCorkle, Jr. of Chester. She is also survived by one brother, Lee Roof of Jacksonville, Fl. and one sister, Olivia Britany' Faye Brannon of Union, SC; grand-parents, Rhonda Love of Rock Hill, Donna Smith of Chester and James M. Levister of Forest City, NC. The memorial service is set for 6:oo p.m. Monday in the chapel of Pollard Funeral Home. Bishop David Levister will officiate.

Ollie H Mobley, 79, formerly of Richburg, left this earth to be with her Lord on Friday, February 24, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Claudie Lee Hefner and Bertha Helms Hefner. She is survived by two daughters, Teresa D. Turner (Dwight) of Ft. Lawn; Cindy M. Murray (James) of Leslie; one son, Ralph Mobley, Jr. of West Virginia; two grandchildren, John R. Joan A. Adkins was born in Euclid, Ohio on Feb. 16, 1936. She passed away at her home in Chester, SC on Feb. 17th, 2022 while surrounded by her loving family, the day after her 86th birthday. She was a fantastic mother, a loving wife, and loved by so many! She always wanted to be the first to mail out her yearly Christmas cards before anyone else. She absolutely loved her job working at Greyhound as a ticket agent and telephone information switchboard operator and she did it proudly for over 25 years. Anthony "Tony" W. Harrell, age 60, passed away August 9, 2021. James Benjamin McKay, Jr., age 73, passed away June 24, 2021 in Chester. He was the son of the late Johnnie Mae Hopper McKay and James B. McKay, Sr. He is survived by his God-children, Jo, Jan, Carmela, McKayden Oliver, Thad Hollis and William Keith Mobley, Jr. Prior to his decline in health, Mr. McKay had been very active as a faithful member of Paul's Presbyterian Church in Chester. He was a retired Telecommunications Operator Supervisor for the SC Highway Patrol in Chester. The graveside service is 11:00 Friday, Chester Memorial Gardens. Marilyn L. Coldwell, age 78, of Rock Hill passed away 6-24-2021. She was the daughter of the late Juanita Galvin Lamar and Henry N. Lamar and the wife of Rodney "Red" Coldwell of the home and the mother of Carolyn Coldwell of Rock Hill and Rebecca Coldwell of Massachusetts. Mrs. Coldwell was a retired Prenatal R.N. for DHEC and a member of Ebenezer ARP Church where she loved singing in the choir and ringing hand bells. She also completely enjoyed her part-time employment with Carowinds in Ft. Mill. Pollard Funeral Home is serving the family.

Larry P. Baines, age 77, passed away at his home on July 13, 2020. Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Paul and Louise Baines and the husband of Reida Edwards Baines for 50 glorious years. Larry retired from Westinghouse after he served in the United States Navy and graduated with the first Computer Science class at the University of South Carolina. Larry was a member of Union United Methodist Church in Irmo. He was a longtime volunteer coach at the Irmo-Chapin Recreation Commission and an avid golf and tennis player. Larry was a devoted U.S.C.
