Ronald "Ronnie" Oren Eades, 75, of Sherrills Ford, NC passed away Monday, October 12, 2020 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. He was born May 3, 1945, and was preceded in death by parents Robert Oren Eades and Thelma Brown Eades, and aunt, Aileen Brown Thomas. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen S. Eades; aunt: Una Mae Brown; children: Kenneth Terry; Kendra Eades and husband, Todd Higgenbottom; and Matthew Eades and wife, Katie; grandsons: Cooper and Connor Eades; brother: Jerome Eades and wife, Brenda; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Arvida Elizabeth Grussing Specht, age 87 of Lincolnton passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Carillon Assisted Living in Lincolnton. Arvida was born June 16, 1932 in Chestertown, Maryland to the late Charles Albert Grussing and Blanche Gustafson Grussing. Arvida was raised on farms in both Kent and Queen Annes Counties, Maryland. She graduated from Sudlersville High School in 1949. She worked several years for a Studebaker dealership in Church Hill, MD; and later for a control fabricator in Mauldin, SC.
