Kathy Ikerd Nantz, age 62, of Iron Station, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Carolina Caring Hospice House in Newton, NC. Her funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Alexis Baptist Church, Alexis, NC with Pastor Scott Jenkins officiating. Judy Lane Robinson, born September 9, 1946, passed away peacefully in the loving care of Trustbridge Hospice by the Sea in Pompano Beach, FL, on Saturday, April 9, 2022. She had been living in FL and was receiving medical and alternative cancer treatments to fight her 10-year battle with colorectal cancer. Judy graduated from Pfeiffer University in 1968 and came to Knoxville, TN. At the same time, she pursued her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law; she opened the Sunflower Health Store at 4216 Sutherland Avenue, which closed in 2020.
