With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Patrick J. Martello, 73, who passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024, after a brave fight with pancreatic cancer. Pat was born on July 16, 1950, to Angelo and Martha Martello. He was the dancing partner and devoted husband of 50 years to his high school sweetheart, Kathleen (nee Dunn). Pat and Kath shared a life filled with laughter and countless memories, bonded together as best friends. On July 10th, 1965, was married to Susan Mary (Sicotte) Wensink, where they remained together for 58 years. David graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1962 and often talked about one of his greatest memories which was playing in the basketball State Tournament in 1962. Born and raised in Green Mountain Falls, CO, Marg Ed received a BA in Journalism from the University of Missouri. A lifelong feminist, after college Marg Ed accepted a position at a newspaper in Freeport, IL because it was the only paper where women were paid equal to men.
