Janice Marie (Mayer) Veillette, 81, of Chatham, MA, died Monday, January 17th, 2022 in Chatham. Born in Meriden, CT, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Elsie (L'Heureux) Mayer. Janice graduated from Meriden High School in 1958. While raising her family with her former late husband, Peter Veillette, in Arlington, VA, she held positions at Catholic Charities and HEW Federal Credit Union. She enjoyed music, playing the piano, and playing the organ for her church choir. Born at home in Orleans, Gail was the second of 5 children to Beryl (Knowles) and Raymond Perreault. An 8th generation Cape Codder, Gail attended Orleans schools and graduated from Orleans High School in the "infamous" class of '57. After high school, Gail attended Lesley College in Boston and then moved to Hartford, CT. She was born in Los Angeles, California on July 20, 1934 to Anna Viola (Wagner) and Byron Chapman. Norma was reared and educated in the Inglewood section of Los Angeles and graduated from The University of California at Santa Barbara.
