Burl Alpert, 93 years young, passed away on January 7, 2024. He was a resident of Colorado Springs since June of 1972. Prior to making Colorado his permanent home, he lived in eastern Kansas, in various small communities. He worked in several occupations as a Civil Engineer. After serving 6 years in the military, he worked for the KC/MO State Highway Dept., then later worked up through the channels of the Dept. of Defense as a Civil Engineer. James Triplett, age 66, passed away on January 28,2022. James was born on May 13, 1955, to Mary and Merle Triplett. On August 16, 1975, he married Lori Pauley in Breckenridge, Colorado. They were married 46 years. James was a master plumber and owned his own business. He learned the plumbing trade from his stepdad, Tony Gunn and his oldest brother, Will Triplett.
