Bruce M. Stuart, 82, of Columbus, passed away at home on Thursday, November 28, 2024. He was born November 12, 1942 in Melrose, MA to James and Muriel (Sanborn) Stuart. Bruce was a veteran of the US Air Force serving from 1961-1982. He earned the rank of Master Sergeant and loved the time he spent in Japan. He was employed by Columbus Regional Hospital for several years as a Clinical Engineering Manager. He was also a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church where frequently volunteered for different events. Bruce had a love of working with his hands. John Herschel Fitzsimmons, 81, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2023 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. John was born December 23, 1942 in Clinton, Indiana to parents Herschel A. and Imogene McCool Fitzsimmons. A 1960 graduate of Columbus High School, he served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged after two years. He attended Valparaiso University and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. While attending Valpo, he met the love of his life Joyce Agle.
