He was married to his best friend and doting wife Cindy Andrisek. Eddie worked in the petrochemical industry for numerous companies within the industry and then retiring from Albe Marle. He was proud to be "BOI" (born on island), a Ball High Alumni (c/o 1973), and he was also proud to be a veteran of the United States Navy and served from 1973 thru 1977.
