David Max Hoffman, Sr. entered eternal life with his Lord on September 17, 2024. He was born in Silas, AL on May 2, 1935, as the youngest of five children to David and Isadora Hoffman. He was baptized while attending Black Creek Baptist Church. His family moved to Mobile, AL just prior to his senior year, where he then graduated from Murphy High School in 1953. David married his high school sweetheart, Jackie Bates, on December 21, 1956. With Jackie, he raised their three children and was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church.
