Alvin R. Bonnette, 95, of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, after a period of declining health. Alvin, known as "Rex" to most, was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, on December 30, 1926, the son of the late David I. and Andrea Y. (Cote) Bonnette. He grew up in Nashua and at an early age showed a knack for business, shining shoes and selling papers. He enlisted in the Navy at the age of 17 and served for two years through the end of WWII. Using the GI Bill, he studied drafting and continued in the trade of carpentry, first learned from his father. Diane graduated from St. Patrick's High School in Lawrence in 1964. Following graduation, she attended Merrimack College then she went into teaching in Tewksbury MA, eventually teaching for many years in the Nashua, NH School district.
