John C. Jordan, 93, formerly of Whitaker Place in Penacook, died August 9, 2023 at Harris Hill Center in Concord. Born November 18, 1929 in Exeter, NH, the son of John L. and Annette (LaBelle) Jordan, he was raised in Newmarket and was a 1947 graduate of Newmarket High School. He attended Boston College and left to enlist in the US Navy in 1948. He served in active duty and in 1949 joined the Reserves for the next six years. Upon discharge from the Reserves John returned to Newmarket to run the family restaurant business, Jordan's Restaurant. Stanley L. Reczek, Jr., a resident of Durham, NH, formerly of Wenham, MA, has died peacefully at home after a lengthy illness. He was born in Lynn, MA to Stanley L. and Pauline Reczek, Sr. and was a graduate of Villanova University. He started his career at Salem Hospital, eventually becoming the executive vice president of the North Shore Medical Center.
