Jane Mabrey Merriman, 85, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025. Jane was born in Greenwood County, SC, a daughter of the late William Dudley Mabrey and Alice Smith Mabrey. She had a long career as a purchasing manager in the aluminum and steel industries. After retirement, she returned to work in both city and county government. Jane loved meeting people and talking with everyone. She never met anyone that she could not find something in them to celebrate.
