Ronald William Parker (Ron) was born in Honea Path, South Carolina on May 21, 1938 to Raymond and Mae Brissey Parker. He passed peacefully on July 25, 2025. He graduated from Honea Path High School and Erskine College. He played on the tennis team at Erskine for four years. He was an active member in the Baptist Student Union. He coached and taught at both Liberty and T.L. Hanna High Schools. He later acquired his Master's Degree at Clemson University. For over 20 years, Ron worked with SC Vocational Rehabilitation counseling, supervising and developing programs for young people with disabilities.
