Dora Maria Writt of Smyrna passed away, Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Kent General Hospital. She was 70. Mrs. Writt was born October 5, 1953, in Karnes City, Texas to the late Juan Gonzales Rios and Eufemia Rodriguez Rios. She worked for Acme in Smyrna for 15 years, retiring in 2014. Mrs. Writt enjoyed fishing and doing puzzles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Cosme, Pablo, Robert and Frank Rios; sister, Juanita "Jamie" Casallero. Darlene Ness Griffin June 6, 1929-September 18, 2024 Darlene Griffin breathed her last breath on Wednesday morning, September 18, in her apartment at Dover Place Assisted Living in Dover. Jim ? known for his insistence on being called by his nickname and for his iron-grip handshake ? succumbed to late-onset Alzheimer Disease at his vacation home near St Michaels MD.
