Brenda Matilda Denoyer, 89, of Traverse City, died Wednesday, January 15, 2025. She was born on March 13, 1935 in Ludington the daughter of Albert Laude and Bettina Matilda (Sundholm) Vogel. She graduated from the Ludington High School in 1953 and then attended Augustana Hospital School of Nursing in Chicago and received her Registered Nursing Degree. Brenda returned to Ludington and became a Nurse with the Ludington Hospital. She met Floyd Denoyer through friends and they married in Ludington. She moved to Traverse City where Brenda began her Nursing at the Grand Traverse Medical Care Facility. After retirement she worked at H.C. Prange Co. and then Younkers in the Men's Department. ...

Adam Leroy Chandler, aka William Sawyer, 64, of Mesick, died Tuesday, August 29, 2023. He was born on June 25, 1959 in Lakeland, Florida and adopted by Victor Dane and Elaine Marie (Chandler) Sawyer. He later changed his name to be more connected to the Chandler family. He attended Mesick High School. He loved Mesick and when he moved away he always moved back. Roger Joseph Scheele of Traverse City, Michigan passed away on June 30, 2023, peacefully in his home. Roger was born in Cheboygan Michigan on January 16, 1953, to Bernard and Lucille (Bur) Scheele. He graduated from Cheboygan Catholic High School and was a member of the 1969 state championship football team. After attending Alpena Community College, he worked in the oil and gas industry in Texas. He moved back to Northern Michigan from Texas and worked in the communication field in Petoskey. Todd Dennis Mochmar, 82, of Traverse City died on Sunday, October 30, 2022. He was born February 25, 1940, in Flint, the son of the late Delbert and Gertrude (Barnhisel) Mochmar. Todd was born and raised in Flint, where he graduated high school from Central High School. He worked for General Motors for 25 years before retiring. Erick Christopher Darrow, 49, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mesick-Willard "Willie" Lee Bliss passed away on November 21, 2020 at Munson Hospital. He was 74. Willie was born August 16, 1946 in Fife Lake Township, MI to Darwin W and Hazel H (Sparks) Bliss.
