Born in Albany, New York in 1943, Beverly was the only daughter of Augustus Mattick and Sarah Waldenmaier Mattick. Her family of four brothers brought her love and joy. Over 60 years ago, she met and married the love of her life William Figel. They raised their four children in Albany before moving to Port Charlotte in 1987. Soon after their arrival in Florida, Bill and Beverly opened Pelican Perch RV Park in Punta Gorda where they welcomed guests from around the United States.
