He was predeceased by his sister Ruth Kelly and survived by his wife of 72 years Dolores "Sue" Mitchell; one daughter and three sons; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bill was always ready to greet people with a joke or try to pull their leg. He was industrious and a perfectionist and taught those traits to his children. He was always ready to lend a hand and share an opinion. Bill served in the US Army and spent his career at the Rochester Gas and Electric. Margueritte spent her career giving to those around her as a Medical Assistant, working at St Luke's in New York. She was also an artist. She enjoyed painting in all mediums, and she loved to sing.
