WALTER TRAVIS MUMME of Taft, TX passed away on September 25, 2018. He was 84 years old. Walter was born in San Antonio, TX on December 11, 1933 to Walter Julius Mumme and Tommie Clay Mumme. He graduated from Brackenridge high School in 1950 and from St. Mary's University in 1954 with BBA degree. Travis and Joanne Putnam were married on August 30, 1952. He entered the army as a LT in the artillery and a Missile Battalion from 1954-1957. When he was discharged, he returned to San Antonio and went to work for International Harvester for 50 years.
