Richard "Dick" E. Hulbirt passed away on January 13, 2026, after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Born in Houston, Texas, Richard grew up in Corpus Christi, where he attended W.B. Ray High School and was later inducted into the W.B. Ray Athletic Hall of Fame. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of Texas, where he also played football. Richard enjoyed a distinguished 42-year career in mortgage loan servicing, including 27 years with Gulf Coast Investment Corporation, where he served as Senior Vice President. Lambert Alois Hrncir, 92, of Houston, Texas went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 21, 2024. Lambert was born in the small town of Nada, Texas, before spending most of his childhood in San Antonio, Texas. Lambert joined the United States Army and fought during the Korean War. Following the war, he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He began his engineering career working for a few years at Humble Oil. Lola Lois Lazier Shelley, 91, peacefully passed away on September 4, 2023 in Houston, Texas. Lois Shelley was a longtime resident of Fort Worth, Texas. She and her husband of 72 years, A. Ralph Shelley, moved to Houston five years ago to be close to family. Lois had an incredible love for her husband. They were high school sweethearts. She worked from home raising five daughters on the Eastside of Fort Worth where she lived for over 55 years. Lois was active in the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) for many years. Mario H. Hernandez, age 65, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021. He was born on February 4, 1956 to the late Gustavo and Margaret Hernandez in Victoria, Texas. Mario graduated from St. Joseph High School in Victoria and earned a business degree from the University of Houston at Victoria. Lillie Rose (Meissner) Lippe, a wonderful wife, mother, granny and great granny left the confines of this Earth to enter into the mansions of heaven on June 5, 2021. This wonderful transfer to the Church Triumphant was made possible, not by the works of Lillie, but by the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ, our risen Lord and Savior.
