Passed away peacefully at home in Morgantown, WV. Cherished mother of Maria Pizanias (Andrew Papavasiliou), Vasiliki McDonough (Capt. Thomas J. McDonough, Jr. USN Ret.) and Christina Pizanias (Michael Linger); sister of John Papanastasiou; grandmother of Isabella, Nicholas, Penelope, Olivia, Ava, Zachary and Alexia. She will truly be missed by many. Lambrini and Nikos moved to Lexington Park, MD in 1971. They owned and operated Niko's Pizza in St. Mary's Square for over 45 years. Stanley Ebner (88) of Washington, DC died on November 26, 2021, with his children surrounding him. There will be a memorial service at Temple Rodef Shalom in the spring, and a funeral for his military honors at Arlington National Cemetery in early 2023. Details to be announced at a later date. Madeleine Martel (78) of Nashua, New Hampshire passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. Madeleine is preceded in death by her loving husband, Sinclair Martel, parents, Roland and Dora Michaud, and brother, Richard Michaud. She is survived by her brother, Paul Michaud and his wife Fran of Nashua NH, friend and care giver, Karen Fanelli, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Maddy was born in Nashua New Hampshire and moved to Northern Virginia after high school. She worked for the Department of State for 31 years.
