Dr. Ralph Gerbig, of Dawson, died peacefully Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Johnson Memorial Hospital at the age of 73, following a courageous journey with ALS. Memorial services will be held Friday, November 8, 2024 at 1 PM at Dawson Covenant Church in rural Dawson, MN. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 5-7PM at Dawson Covenant Church with a prayer service at 6:30PM. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Virginia Anderson of Willmar, formerly of Montevideo, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 at Bethesda Grand in Willmar at the age of 88. Virginia Madeline Marks was born January 14, 1931 in Faulkton, SD to John and Bertha (Geist) Marks. She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith. Virginia attended and graduated from Central High School in Aberdeen, SD. She was united in marriage to Russell Anderson on May 14, 1950 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo, MN. Together they had three children. Virginia worked many years at Sears in Montevideo where she made lifelong friends.
