Phyllis A. (Essick) Condon, age 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, December 5, 2024 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Bargersville and a former resident of Ft. Myers, Florida. Phyllis was born in Indianapolis on January 21, 1936, to her parents, the late Charles and Zona (Zimmerman) Essick. She married Donald D. Condon on June 25, 1952 in Indianapolis. He preceded her in death on April 14, 2020 after 67 loving and devoted years of marriage. He was born in Brown County on January 6, 1955 to his parents, the late Kenneth and Frances (Hufford) Pate. He was a 1973 graduate of Brown County High School. Jesse Dale Brown, age 97, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Sunday morning, December 1, 2024. He was a lifelong resident of Brown County, Indiana. Jesse was born on June 21, 1927 and was raised on the family farm on Salt Creek Road. He attended the one room Brown School which was across the road from his home, and later Nashville High School.
