Ruth Ann Melching went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home on Canby Road in Levering. She was the youngest child of Lester and Ruth Ann (Wilsey) Bayha. Her siblings were sisters, Norma Edwards and Doris Ericks, and her brother, Frank Bayha, all of whom are deceased. She grew up on the small family farm also on Canby Road. She loved riding her horse in the area surrounding the farm. On Dec. 10, 2020, Cynthia "Anne" Chanavat of Pellston, MI, passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones, four days after celebrating her 89th birthday. Anne was born in Jackson on December 6, 1931 to Clarence and Jane (Neilson) Larkey. She was the eldest of three children. She attended Jackson High School and Jackson Community College. Anne had three sons, the first two born in Amarillo, TX and the youngest in Jackson. In 1968, she married the love of her life, Jack Chanavat and relocated to Hidden Hamlet in Harbor Springs. She was born September 30, 1938 in Codnor, Derbyshire, England to Fred and Constance (Hull) Henson. Bernice lead an exciting and fulfilling life.
