Vianne Mary Crane, 71, of Cadillac, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. She was born on May 8, 1950 in Cadillac to the late Lewis Franklin Sr. and Ruth Mae (Plotts) Barber. Vianne was a loving mother. She had many friends with who she enjoyed sharing a cup of coffee. She also enjoyed playing all kinds of card games and board games. Vianne loved being outside hunting and fishing. Deborah (Debi) Herald, 68, of Cadillac, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born to the late John and Edna (Boynton) Thwaites in Grand Rapids, Michigan on April 9th, 1953. Debi moved to Cadillac from Florida in 1997 to take care of her ailing mother. Debi was well known for slinging drinks at the local American Legion and the Busy Bee Tavern until she retired. She was Aunt Debi to most and had a huge hand in raising many of her nieces and nephews. Debi will be missed by many and thought of often. Lillian E. Kelly, 86 of Traverse City, formerly of Wellston, passed away peacefully at home on Oct. 8, 2020. Lillian was born May 6, 1934 in Portland, Maine to the late William L. and Margaret (Michelina Fiato) Foote. Lillian graduated from Portland High School in 1952. She then worked for a loan office in Portland. Lillian met the love of her life, John M. Kelly Jr., who was stationed at the former Naval Air Station Brunswick, Maine. They were married on April 23, 1955 and immediately departed to Cadillac, Michigan where John was from. Lillian became a busy homemaker as John took a job with Michigan Bell Telephone Co. in Midland. She was born on September 18, 1930 in Tazewell, TN to the late Jesse and Clare (Gibson) Hunter. Beatrice was a kind-hearted and strong willed woman who overcame many hardships in life. She had a strong faith in God and could be quiet and contemplative. Family always came first, no matter what, and she absolutely adored her great grandbabies. On Wednesday, December 4th, 2019, Lawrence (Larry) Frederick Francis, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 65. Larry was born on March 10, 1954 in Petoskey MI to Theodore and Beatrice (Haney) Francis. Larry married the love of his life, Vickie Blake on July 13, 1993.
