Alton Allen Audilet, 84, of Yorktown passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025. He was born August 25, 1940 in Nopal, TX to William Paul and Minnie Rabenaldt Audilet. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, VFW Yorktown post and Dewitt Vietnam Veterans of America #1029 of Yorktown. Gloris Seifert, 83, of Yorktown gained her angel's wings and went to be with our Lord on Monday, March 31, 2025. She was born October 12, 1941 in Garfied to Frank and Anita Blaschke Kozielski. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Gloris was raised in Garfield where she lived a wonderful simple life. Lois, 89, was born on April 17, 1935 at 417 North Church Street in Yorktown, Texas. She was the oldest of three children born to Fred and Melba (Hinsey) Wolpman. Lois was baptized in the Christian faith on July 21, 1935 in Nordheim's St. Paul Lutheran Church. Her baptismal sponsors were Mrs. Hertha Wolpman, Mrs. Marian Poehlman, Dorris Hinsey, and Delores Neumayer. She later confirmed her faith on April 2, 1950 at Yorktown's St. Paul Lutheran Church. Quinton Metting, 77, of Yorktown passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025. He was born June 2, 1947 in Yorktown to Wilton and Willis Spies Metting. He graduated from Yorktown High School and is a member of St Paul Lutheran Church in Yorktown. Clinton Thieme, 44, of Nordheim passed away on Friday January 31, 2025. He was surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Cuero to Ray and Wanda Rogge Thieme on May 6, 1980. Clinton was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church. He enjoyed fishing and working on cars and motors of things that people needed fixed. Carl Meeks, Sr., 92, of Victoria passed away Friday, January 3, 2025. He was born June 21, 1932 in Purcell, Oklahoma to the late Hubert and Dovie Meeks. He married Mary Alice Parker on February 25, 1955 in McAllen, Texas. Carl worked in the oilfield, stateside, offshore, and overseas and retired after 30 years of service. Upon his retirement from the oilfield, he worked in the maintenance departments at Retama Manor Nursing Home and Linwood Place in Victoria, Texas.
