Frank Bernard Bludau Sr., of Hallettsville, passed away at the age of 96 on August 22, 2024. He was born on October 12, 1927, in Hallettsville, Texas. He was the fourth child in a family of eleven to Andres and Annie Friesenhahn Bludau. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and VFW. Frank lived his entire life in Hallettsville except for the time he served in the U.S. Army at the end of WWII. Evelyn Hoffer, 96, of Hallettsville, passed away July 6, 2024. She was born June 12, 1928, to Alvin and Annie Schneider. She married Leo Hoffer Jr on February 21, 1950, and together they raised four children.
