Albert Frank Kucera, 83, passed away December 27, 2022. He was born on June 15, 1939 in East Bernard to the late Paul and Stella Rejsek Kucera. He loved hunting and fishing and time with his neighbors. He was a veteran of the US Army. He is survived by his daughter Donna Harris and John Richter of El Campo; grandchildren Dillion Harris, Erica Harris, and Nicholas Harris; siblings Dorothy Pratka of Inez, Frances Klatt of Victoria, and Paul Kucera and wife Sharon of El Campo and numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy Jo Robbins,85, passed peacefully December 26, 2022. She was born November 19,1937 to the late M.V. "Ted" and Martha Cory. Dorothy graduated from El Campo High School in 1955 and went on to earn her bachelor's degree in education in 1959 from Texas Women's University. She began her teaching career in Houston and a few short years later moved back home and taught at Northside Elementary until retiring in 1995. During her time teaching, she guided many teachers and taught many students who still remember her to this day. Joyce Mary Berkovsky of El Campo, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2022 at the age of 89. She was born on May 27, 1933 to Christian and Vlasta Brom in Nickle, Texas. Growing up you couldn't get Joyce "Baby" Brom off the softball field or the dance floor, always spending time with family and friends, especially with her sister and best friend Eloise. In 1955, she married Benjamin James Berkovsky of Sweet Home and in 1965, with three rambunctious children in tow, they moved to El Campo where she helped Ben begin his dental practice. Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Sybil Jane Frasier, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of October 5th, 2022. Sybil was born on the 1st of May 1930 to Paul and Hedveka Filak in Granger, Texas. She later attended El Campo High School, where she served as captain of the women's basketball team.
