Steve Porter, 79, of El Campo, TX, went to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ on March 13, 2026. He was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on July 25, 1946 to Harry Eugene Porter and Verlee (Lee) Asman Porter, both WWII Navy veterans. After living in Savannah, Georgia briefly, he was raised in Houston and graduated from Memorial High School and was an Eagle Scout. Joseph Pierre Archer, 71, of El Campo, passed away January 11, 2026. He was born on November 8, 1954 in Hampton, VA to the late Richard and Mary Williams Archer. Joseph retired in 2017 as a pipefitter for Bilfinger. Raymond Edward Buckler, Jr. of Houston passed away September 17, 2025 at the age of 76. He was born November 16, 1948 in El Campo to Raymond Sr. and Frances Buckler. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1967 and from Kingsville A & I in 1972 with a BS in Psychology. He was an Army Veteran having served during the Viet Nam war as a Psychologist in Anchorage, Alaska treating soldiers returning home with PTSD. Patricia(Pat) Baca Taylor of El Campo passed away on February 3, 2025 at the age of 77. Pat was born on September 30, 1947 in La Grange, TX to the late Lloyd and Julia Orsak Baca. She attended St. Philip Catholic school in grades one through eight and graduated from El Campo High School in 1965. Upon graduation, Pat attended beauty school and became a licensed beautician.
