Edmund Patrick Kruppa, 59, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 7 after a courageous 2 year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. Edmund was known for his creativity, sharp wit, and willingness to take risks in both his personal and professional life. He believed deeply in following one's passions and wanted to inspire others to do the same. Edmund was born at Nightingale Hospital in El Campo, Texas, to Mary Ann and Stanley Kruppa on March 21, 1966. He graduated from El Campo High School in 1984. Patricia(Pat) Baca Taylor of El Campo passed away on February 3, 2025 at the age of 77. Pat was born on September 30, 1947 in La Grange, TX to the late Lloyd and Julia Orsak Baca. She attended St. Philip Catholic school in grades one through eight and graduated from El Campo High School in 1965. Upon graduation, Pat attended beauty school and became a licensed beautician. A short time later, Pat met Homer Taylor, the love of her life, at the Hillje Dance Hall. Not long after, Homer proposed and the two married on December 16, 1967. Edwin Elmer Lee Richter of El Campo passed away on December 16, 2024 at the age of 94. He was born January 21, 1930 to Edwin Carl and Alwine Dora Zieschang Richter at their home in Thorndale, Texas. He attended the Lutheran school in Thorndale, where he learned to speak English since German was all the family spoke. He dropped out of school after eight years to help on the farm.
