Craig Morgan Seekamp, Sr., a life-long resident of Yoakum died unexpectedly on December 28, 2024 at the age of 71. Craig was born on October 12, 1953 to Charles and Joyce (Kopecky) Seekamp. He graduated from Yoakum High School in 1971. He married Helen on January 9, 1982. They were devoted partners for almost 43 years. He continued in the family tradition of construction and heavy equipment operation, opening his own business, TRAX services in 1977. He later started a GPS seismographic survey business in 2001 operating in various states. In the 90s, he enjoyed acting at the Gaslight Theater in Shiner, and more recently, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and being an active...

Betty Jean Denison, 82, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024. She was born April 28, 1942 in Yoakum to the late Johnnie and Myrtle (Castellow) Hairell. Betty's job on earth was to take care of everyone. She had a big heart and loved everyone, especially her family and all the animals around her. She loved to garden and was a great cook.
