Brian was a devoted husband, father, son, and friend whose bright spirit touched the lives of many. He was known for his loud booming voice and his laid-back nature. Tommy Oscar Morgan, age 91, of Conyers, Ga., passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025. He was born on May 27, 1933, in Valdosta, Ga., one of three sons of Lee Earl Morgan and Viola Hansen Morgan Shroyer. After the untimely death of their father in 1939, Tommy and his brothers, Earl and Jimmy, became residents at The Methodist Home for Children and Youth in Macon, Ga., for several years. At age 17, Tommy Morgan enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving as a submarine torpedoman, also serving aboard the U.S.S. Yorktown aircraft carrier and a destroyer, and completing a tour of duty in Japan. Marie and her three siblings grew up at the Baptist Children's Home in Hapeville, Georgia. Marie married Lee Davis on August 7, 1953, shortly after she graduated from Hapeville High School. Lee enlisted in the United States Coast Guard in 1951, and served his country there for 25 years from 1951 to 1976.
