Violet Eva Frederich passed away at the age of 103 on August 22. She was born on March 22, 1921, in the family home. Violet was the oldest of three daughters born to Louis and Lydia (Ullman) Jahnz. On May 10, 1940, she married Ewald Frederich, who preceded her in death on May 7, 2000. During their almost 60 years of marriage, they were blessed with two children, Shirley and Wayne. Maurice "Morry" Barka, age 86, passed away peacefully at AngelsGrace on January 19, 2024. Dad was born at home in Valley Junction, Wisconsin on October 2, 1937 to Leora (Parr) and Roy Barka. He was the youngest of four and the only son. Dad, Morry to most of you, was raised on a farm in northern Wisconsin. At age 6, he was already milking cows before and after school.
