Born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin on May 22, 1938, the daughter of the late Horace and Marion (nee. Thon) Priest. She spent her early life in Wisconsin and was a graduate of Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac Wisconsin. On May 25, 1963, she married Bernell M. Kocher and the couple lived in Milwaukee for many years where Margaret was an Accountant and worked in H.R. for Rexnord of Milwaukee where she had retired. He grew up in Fort Dodge Iowa, until his family moved to Clinton, Wisconsin when Ron was in sixth grade. He graduated Clinton High School class of 1989 and attended Blackhawk Technical College.
