Edmund "Ed" McGrath Krigbaum, 96, died peacefully in his bed the morning of August 2, 2023, after struggling with dementia. Edmund was born on December 28, 1926, in Columbus, Ohio, to Lillian (McGrath) Krigbaum and Roy Edmund Krigbaum. In 1942, at the age of 17, Ed joined the US Navy and trained to be a radioman/gunner. Fortunately, Ed was never called into combat and, after his service, returned to Columbus where he attended The Ohio State University on the GI bill. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1941 as the only child to Herman Delmenhorst and Martha Delmenhorst, nee Wayne. He attended Atherton High School, the University of Louisville, and the Louis D.
