Chase William Richards, 42, of Akron, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Chase had a love for animals. He had a big, kind heart and was always the life of the party. Above all he loved his son Lil' Chase. He is survived by his son Lil' Chase, mother, Lisa Ausperk, siblings, April Richards, Cassandra Ly (Tony), Bryant Ausperk (Jen Rowe), grandfather Robert Sieckowski, and father, William S. Richards. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Charles "Skip" Ausperk, grandmother, Rebecca Sieckowski, and grandparents, Raymond and Edith Richards. Chase will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of his life will be planned at a later date....

Richard Guy Cottingham Sr., a.k.a. "Buzzard" passed away October 15, 2021 in the hospital with family by his side. Born December 20,1947 to the late Cone and Esther (Conrad) Cottingham. He served in The United States Army with the 101st Airborne during the Vietnam War. Richard was a hard worker during his life. He was a press operator at Ohio Match Co, construction worker, and for the last several years he worked at foundries in Akron. Richard owned and enjoyed muscle cars. David W. Smith of Bath went home to the Lord and to his beloved wife Judy on September 30, 2021. Dave was born in Chicago on June 4,1934 and lived in the Chicago area until his family relocated to Bay Village in 1948. Upon graduating from Bay High School, Dave enrolled at Northwestern University, where he met Judy. Dave and Judy married in 1958 and started their family in Chicago. They settled for good in the Cleveland area in 1964. David worked in the insurance business for Mass Mutual and New England Life. David and his wife Judy had a personal faith in Jesus Christ. She was born on March 18, 1942 in Frederick, Maryland to the late Robin (Ridenbaugh) and Robert M. Staley Jr. Diane graduated from Frederick High School in 1959. She continued her education at the University of Maryland and went on to achieve her Masters Degree from The Ohio State University, while teaching for the Ohio State School for the Blind. She then moved to Wadsworth, OH to work for the University of Akron/Wayne College and ultimately became head of the physical education department.
