Russell was born in Berlin, NH on September 9, 1940 the son of Earl and Lorette (Royer) Nolin. Russell was raised and educated in Berlin and graduated from Berlin High School and Plymouth State Teachers College. Russell taught Social Studies for 40 years in the Berlin School System. He lived in Berlin until 2004, when he moved to Florida until he relocated back to Rochester in May of 2020. Russell loved watching and attending any and all sports. Ralph D. Keene, 78, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend, of Berlin, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Friday August 2, 2024. He was born on February 18, 1946 in Lynn, MA and was the son of the late Gerald and Edith Keene. Ralph enlisted in the Army and served two tours in Vietnam, 1967-1968 and again from 1970-1971. He was stationed in Ft. Hood, TX before serving in Germany from 1974-1977. Upon returning home, he was stationed in Ft. Lewis, WA. Ralph received an Honorable Discharge on June 12, 1978 as a Sgt E-5.
