Jacklyn attended Notre Dame High School, and St. Louis Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of the AVH Auxiliary, and the board of the NH Association of Hospital Auxiliaries. She was trained as a genealogist at the Berlin Historical Society, where her books of families were her greatest joy, encompassing 23 years of work, tracing hundreds of Berlin families as far into the past as possible.
