She was born September 7, 1946 in Rochester, PA, a daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Ofcharka) Markulin and grew up in Monaca, PA. She graduated from Aliquippa High School in 1964 and studied at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh. She married her childhood sweetheart, Charles, on August 24, 1968 and worked as a secretary to the chief naval architect at American Bridge for seven years, until the birth of their first child, Michael, in 1972. Rodger T. Danvir, 76, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at his home. Rodger was born on November 10, 1947 in New Kensington, PA, a son of the late Thomas and Mary (Langham) Danvir. He was a 1965 graduate of New Kensington High School and attended Robert Morris University, until enlisting in the United States Army in 1967. After being honorably discharged in 1970, he relocated to Austintown, OH, and accepted a position with General Motors. He dedicated 36 years of service to the company, retiring in 2006. Galen was born April 14, 1955 in Youngstown, OH, the son of Galen Sr. and Jean Russell Seidner. Galen and his wife Kim relocated to Charlotte, NC in 1983. Galen worked in sales and finance for the automotive industry in the Charlotte area before joining Compact Power in Ft Mill, SC where he was National Finance Manager and later General Manager of Trailer Manufacturing Operations. Betty graduated from Woodrow Wilson H.S. in 1956 and then was employed by the Truscon Division of Republic Steel.
