William Clarence Edwards, Jr., 88, of Madison, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022. Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by his parents, Red and Daisy Edwards; son, William Clarence Edwards III; and sister, Mary Jeannine Brown. Survivors include wife, Barbara Edwards; son, James Taylor Edwards (Melanie) of Florence, AL; daughter-in-law, Karen Coble Edwards of Virginia; grandsons, William Clarence Edwards, IV and James Taylor Edwards, Jr.; step grandson, Benton Lee Gallagher; granddaughters, Daisy Nell Edwards and Ekaterina Grace Edwards; brother, James S. Edwards; nephew, David William Brown (Laura); and niece, Erika Edwards Dunn. There will be a private burial in Mississippi.

Curtis Lee Putnam, 69, of Huntsville passed away April 17, 2022. He was born in Tylertown, Mississippi to Elton and Mary Cliburn Putnam. Curtis was preceded in death by wife, Donna Mealer, and his father, Elton Putnam. Survivors include his children, Shannon Leeann Putnam and Nicholas Lee Putnam of the home; his mother, Mary Putnam of Tupelo; his brother, Keith Putnam (Linda); brother-in-law, Tom Mealer; and other family and friends. R. Lance Ingram, 64, of Owens Cross Roads, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022. Lance loved his family, especially his grandbabies, and was blessed with an amazing group of friends. He loved to trout fish, travel, and was inducted in the Berry College Sports Hall of Fame. Survivors include his wife, HJ Ingram; daughter, Madalyn Knox (JC); two grandchildren; and sisters, Cathy Halgat (Jay) and Joi Fox (Thomas). Johnnie Moore Thomas, 79, of Madison, passed away Wednesday. Mrs. Thomas was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, James A. Thomas; daughter, Kimberly Rushing (David); grandchildren, Hayden and Hannah Rushing; and sister, Mary Burton. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 12th at Laughlin Service Funeral Home in Huntsville, AL with Dr. Sonny Kirk officiating. Burial is in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Joe Henry Thomas, Sr., 78, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday. Mr. Thomas was a graduate of Western Kentucky University and his career spanned 30 years of Federal Service with the Corps of Engineers and NASA in support of manned space flight programs. He served in Washington, DC, Cape Kennedy, Florida, and at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville. He was a farmer and an active member of several automotive restoration and antique clubs in the Huntsville community. He was a member of Twickenham Church of Christ.
