Marilyn Anne Marquardt passed away February 10, 2023, at the age of 93, in Moorhead, MN, where she resided during the last two and a half years of her life. Marilyn was born January 29, 1930, on the family farm in the township of Frog Creek, WI, to Herman and Tilla (Hjersjo) Marquardt. Marilyn started school in Chittamo, WI, in 1935, followed by grade school years attendance in Minong and Lampson, WI. Marilyn attended Spooner WI, high school, graduating in 1947 at the age of 17. In November 1947, Marilyn moved to Minneapolis, MN, and worked at Sears & Roebuck for the Christmas holiday season. Thomas James Hall or "TJ" to his friends and family, was born in Warren County, KY, in 1948 to Thomas and Clara Hall. He was the second eldest of five children: three sisters and one younger brother. He married his beautiful wife Tony in1968, in Celina, TN, and they had their daughter Brandi four years later. Strong willed and self-reliant, TJ lived his life by the credo "I'll do that myself," and he did that for 74 years without compromise. He was a self-taught craftsman; woodworking, home remodeling, car restoration, his ingenuity and skill set seemed endless. If he didn't know how to do the job, he learned. Duane Guy Bailey was born June 18, 1926, in Osmond, NE, to Guy and Eva (Elsberry) Bailey. Duane was employed with J.I. Case Company for forty-three years, when he retired in 1988. Duane served in the US Navy Air Corp during WWII. He was very proud of his service to his country. He was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church in Moorhead, MN, and was very active in the church, serving in many areas. Duane married Doris Broadbent in 1946. They had two daughters. Duane then married Doris Anderson Bradshaw in 1954 and had another daughter. With the addition of four step-daughters, they had seven daughters.
