Ofelia G. Hinojosa, 93, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones in Santa Monica, Texas. Ofelia was born on March 23, 1929, in La Jarita Ranch, Texas to Uvaldo Garcia and Francisca Solis Garcia. Ofelia is a 1947 Graduate of Lyford High School. She worked at the La Jarita School and continued a 29-year career with the Lyford Consolidated School District until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of the Santa Monica Catholic Mission, serving on the Altar Society and as a Eucharistic Minister.
