Lillie Barrett Lynch, 75, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Baptist Health Lexington. Born December 19,1945 in Booneville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Eva Gross Barrett. Lillie enjoyed gardening, cooking, shopping, crocheting, and spending time with her family. Charles Richard "Dick" Brock, 84, widower of Patty Furr Brock, died Saturday, May 15, 2021. Born June 24, 1936 in Danville, Kentucky to the late Charles Houston and Nellie Boring Brock. He graduated from Danville High School and served in the US Naval Reserve. Dick was employed by Kroger for over 40 years. He was a 53-year member of the Versailles Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. Dick was inducted into the Woodford County Schools Hall of Fame and was very active with Habitat for Humanity and the Woodford Food Pantry. David A. Johns, 72, widower of Florence Johns, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington. Born October 10, 1947 in Nicholasville, Kentucky he was the son of the late Eldon Johns and Geraldine Burnett Hawkins. David attended Jessamine County High School and served in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1972 during the Vietnam War. On September 20, 1969 David married Florence Knight. He was born in Ashland, Kentucky to Emma Lou Vaughn Crowell and the late Clarence "Shine" Crowell. David was a 1971 graduate of Danville High School, was the Facility Maintenance Director for KCTCS in Versailles and a longtime member of Versailles United Methodist Church.
