Emily Allen Swindler age 56 of Shelbyville, Kentucky passed away Sunday December 1, 2024 in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Emily had been the Principal at Northside Elementary School in Shelbyville for the past 6 years. She had been employed with the Shelby County School System for over 25 years. Emily was a natural born teacher that had a close relationship with all of her students. Being the principal at Northside Elementary reinforced her as an educator and team player whose mission was to get kids started in the right direction.
